Healthy Cookie Recipe

This is an awesome cookie recipe for those of you who like a sweet treat, but want to avoid eating refined sugar and flour. It is also another great use for your overly ripe bananas.

Natural Sweetener – bananas, cinnamon

Healthy, Vitamin Rich Fats –  almond meal, shredded & unsweetened coconut and coconut oil

Whole Grains – oats

Stick to the original recipe and these cookies can be eaten for breakfast, along with your morning latte or as a snack. Add your favorite dark chocolate for a delicious dessert. I added dark chocolate and dried cherries to mine. It’s incredible how well these cookies bind together, without the use of milk, butter or eggs. They have an incredibly moist, cake-like consistency and taste just as good, if not better the next day.
