Update: East End Kitchen

I’m sorry to say, I have to go back on my word: East End Kitchen is far from perfection. In fact my dinner there last night may have been my last. As you read from my previous entry, I was excited to go back to experience what improvements may have been made. I walked in for my 7:00pm reservation and was one of only three parties total. It took ten minutes to get the glass of wine I ordered and an additional twenty for my first course. I ordered pumpkin soup to start, which had both the look and taste of pumpkin frosting. But it got worse. Please, East End Kitchen, don’t deconstruct bouillabaisse, it just didn’t work. There wasn’t enough food, flavor, color and it was cold. I’m sad to write this because I had such high hopes, but I felt let down. When I got home, I made myself a fried egg sandwich and then I felt better.
